Security Tester

We are looking for an experienced Security Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and run test cases including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.

This role requires a strong background in software development or software developer in test (SDET). A solid understanding of computer networking and experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities is also required.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Strong communication skills with fluency in English are essential.

This is a challenging role that requires hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the development team.

  1. Design and implement test cases: The Security Tester will be responsible for designing and implementing test cases to ensure system security.
  2. Collaborate with the development team: The Security Tester will work closely with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans.
  3. Develop custom applications: The Security Tester will develop custom embedded applications as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software development or SDET background: Experience in software development or software developer in test (SDET) is essential.
  • Computer networking: A solid understanding of computer networking, including IP and Telnet, is required.
  • Cryptographic operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities is necessary.
  • Programming languages: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl is required.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills with fluency in English are essential.
