Senior Automation Test Engineer Position

This senior role involves driving automation test strategies and developing comprehensive test frameworks for complex systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using JavaScript technologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver results-driven solutions.
  3. Develop and implement automated tests for microservices using various tools and techniques.
  4. Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks to ensure seamless integration with development processes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of SDET.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies.
  • Strong background in TypeScript with at least 1 year hands-on experience.
  • Expertise in Automation Testing Techniques and Tools e.g., Playwright / Cucumber / Appium/ Selenium.
  • Excellent knowledge in development and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs / Microservices using JavaScript technologies.
  • Practical experience with GraphQL and Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth).
  • Well-versed with CI/CD principles and experienced in solving, troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystems.
  • Understanding of containerization and expertise in Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Exposed to API gateway integrations and task/message queues including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin and Kafka.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and effective research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies.
