Lead Test Analyst Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks for front end and backend systems, including Pega, Java, and cloud-based applications.

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement test automation using various tools. Manual, automation, and End-to-End testing skills are required. Collaboration with QE team members to deliver complex projects and interfacing with external teams is necessary. Risk assessment associated with new software implementations, code reviews, and professional growth in technical and operational domains are key responsibilities. Innovation and critical thinking to drive efficient solutions are expected. Representing QA methodology across Pharmacy+ divisions and devising improvements to current procedures are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Pega and Java technologies, requiring manual and automation testing.
  • Lead End-to-End test calls and coordinate UAT testing.
  • Define test processes, including required test activities, deliverables, and test schedules.
  • Evaluate employee and vendor partner performance by reviewing test deliverables and artifacts.
  • Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream.
  • Estimate and re-estimate projects while recognizing dependencies in cross-functional testing and data to complete estimates.
  • Train and mentor QE team members.
  • Manage information flow to internal and external clients and leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members, including content development and training.
  • Solve complex problems and apply new perspectives to existing solutions.
  • Ensure defects are quickly assessed and resolved, whether in non-production or production.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on test automation experience, preferably 2-3+ years in Healthcare or the PBM industry.
  • Expert-level system test automation experience.
  • Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Java scripting, node.js, and JSON.
  • Experience integrating with Jenkins and Sauce Labs.
  • Expert-level End-to-End testing experience across multiple product teams.
  • Java coding expertise with latest web design concepts.
  • Adeptness in Agile development methodology.
  • Good understanding of multiple test automation frameworks and DevOps.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, and solve problems.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules to accommodate business needs.
  • Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust to meet audience needs.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under time constraints and guide others during deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train teams.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in software or web testing.
  • Strong desire to learn.
