Job Title: Financial Operations Leader

A Financial Operations Leader of a manufacturing facility should oversee the plant's financial operations, encompassing financial planning, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, and compliance with local and international regulations and standards.

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the financial planning process to drive strategic decisions.
  2. Accounting & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of timely and insightful financial reports for management.
  3. Compliance & Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal SOPs.
  4. Cost Management & Efficiency: Lead initiatives to optimize financial operations, enhance cost efficiency, and provide financial analysis for plant costs and variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Team Leadership: Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team within the plant, fostering adherence to standards and high performance.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks and act as a custodian of the organization's risk register.
  7. Stakeholder & Auditor Relations: Coordinate with auditors, manage audit processes, and provide financial information and insights to senior management, stakeholders, and the plant head.
  8. Business Partnership: Serve as a finance business partner to the Plant Head, providing financial guidance and support for improving plant performance and achieving operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant: A professional accounting qualification is essential for this role, with a minimum of 18 years of experience in managing large plant finance & accounting.

About the Role: As a Financial Operations Leader, you will be responsible for driving financial excellence and supporting business growth. You will work closely with the Plant Head and other stakeholders to ensure effective financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
