We are seeking an accomplished Medical Communications Specialist to join our team. In this challenging position, you will combine your passion for medical science with excellent writing skills to produce engaging content.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in scientific writing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adapt their style to various materials and target audiences.

The successful Medical Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing high-quality, client-ready scientific and educational materials, including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and more. They will also collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Scientific Writing: Develop well-researched, engaging content that meets client requirements and adheres to industry standards.
  • Liaison and Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, authors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all materials comply with client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and CACTUS' internal SOPs.
  • Intellectual Input: Provide expert input on document types and contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • Education: PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Writing Style: Clear, concise, scientific writing with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Biostatistics: Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature Reviewing: Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
