Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned cloud engineer to join our team at JPMorgan Chase. This exciting opportunity will allow you to take your software engineering career to the next level.

As a member of an agile team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS infrastructure.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of AWS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement strategies to reduce AWS spending.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Proven experience as an AWS Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
