WLAN Automation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled expert in WLAN automation to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using Pytest, PyATS, or Robot Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and reusable frameworks for automated WLAN feature testing.
  • Implement modular test suites for wireless LAN features and networking protocols (L2/L3).
  • Test planning and execution:
    • Design and execute test plans and test cases for wireless LAN features and networking protocols.
    • Conduct regression, performance, and functional testing of WLAN solutions.
  • API & Backend Test Automation:
    • Automate REST APIs using Flask and related tools to validate service-level functionality.
    • Ensure robust API test coverage and CI/CD integration.
  • Code & Version Control:
    • Manage source code using Git, ensuring code quality, version control, and collaboration with distributed teams.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting:
    • Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues related to WLAN, networking protocols, and automation test failures.
    • Use tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, etc., to capture and analyze traffic.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with development teams to understand product architecture and features.
    • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily scrums to ensure alignment on quality goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test execution reports, and automation scripts.
    • Provide regular status updates and raise risks proactively.
    • Mentor junior engineers in automation practices, code reviews, and WLAN protocol understanding.
