Cloud Platform Lead

The role of a Cloud Platform Lead is to oversee and optimize the performance, capacity, and scalability of cloud-based platforms. This involves strategic planning and execution of upgrades, migrations, and architecture changes to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and lead the resolution of complex technical issues affecting cloud platform performance.
- Develop automation scripts and tooling for platform management using Ansible, Helm, and Operators.
- Define and implement security hardening, compliance, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence.
- Mentor junior engineers, review their escalations, and build operational knowledge bases to enhance team capabilities.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams on enhancements and new capabilities to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux administration.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in OpenShift (v4 preferred).
- Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes internals, API objects, and Operators.
- Strong knowledge of container networking, ingress, and service mesh technologies.
- Proven track record in leading platform upgrades, migrations, and optimizations.
