Our Digital & Technology Services team provides services including Data & Applied Intelligence, Product and Innovation, Technology M&A and Strategy, and Technology Transformation.

We are seeking a talented senior developer responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting world-class software. The software will operate in all facets of our Tax business.

This position participates in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of robust, high-performance web applications using Next.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Develop and manage scalable front-end architecture with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
  • Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud, leveraging services such as App Services, Blob Storage, and Azure CDN.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices in software development.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve development workflows and performance.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js and Next.js.
  • Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure Cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Proficient in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end architecture.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data workflows.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and web security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver high-quality features under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
