About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced developer with expertise in web technologies to join our fast-paced websites team. The ideal candidate will be a proficient frontend developer with backend knowledge, possessing a solid track record of delivering major projects. They will work closely with middleware development teams, SEO, and content teams to ensure our website is best in class.
The Websites team is responsible for the CMS system that powers all our client's websites, which receive upwards of 2 million hits per week.
In this fast-paced development environment, you will engage with agile methods, adaptive frameworks, and frontend development strategies to meet deadlines and adhere to best practices. You will also be expected to suggest areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and implement enterprise content solutions using AEM technology.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical issues, and defects in AEM implementations, optimizing AEM solutions.
- Develop unbiased product innovations.
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end features in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) using Java, Sling, OSGi, and other AEM-specific technologies.
- Develop custom AEM components, services, and integrations to meet business requirements.
- Implement efficient workflows, content replication, and versioning strategies within AEM.
- Work on Springboot applications and AWS, handling CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, adhering to strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
- Utilize REST APIs or GraphQL to load data.
- Mentor team members and participate in pair programming and extreme programming.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience working in a client-facing development team with strong experience in Java and AEM knowledge (frontend knowledge preferred).
- Strong experience as a senior frontend developer in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations.
- A solid understanding of Java, AEM's architecture, JCR, Sling, and OSGi, Services, Components, Dispatcher, caching systems, and the ability to integrate AEM with third-party services.
- Frontend skills, along with knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Spring Boot, and AWS, are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer centricity, and the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
