Digital Banking Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced software quality assurance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital banking and expertise in functional, API, and automation testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications. This includes Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Core Banking APIs.

• Develop automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing and Postman / REST Assured for API testing.
• Participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle.
• Continuously learn and adopt new testing tools and techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Designing and developing automated test cases for digital banking applications.
• Executing manual test cases for digital banking applications.
• Participating in shift-left testing activities.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services.
• Deep understanding of digital banking workflows, including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels.
• Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing and Postman / REST Assured for API testing.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts such as AI-driven test case generation.
• Experience in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC.
• Holds an ISTQB Test certification.
