Production Executive

Job Summary:

This is a high-level leadership role that oversees the planning, execution, and control of production activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams, optimizing processes, and improving quality standards.

• Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high-quality products.
• Resource Management: Manage manpower effectively, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting productivity targets.
• Total Quality Management (TQM): Implement TQM principles to improve overall plant performance.
• Production Planning: Developing and implementing production plans according to business and market demands.
• Human and Material Resources: Managing human and material resources to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Staff Coordination: Coordinating and supervising staff activities, reviewing performance, and initiating corrective actions as required.
• Compliance: Ensuring Compliance adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations in the workplace.
• Operational Systems: Assessing and improving operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
• Reports and Records: Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.
• Maintenance and Repair: Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and infrastructure to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.
• Issue Resolution: Monitoring production to resolve issues promptly and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate channels.
• Cost Control: Implementing cost control measures to reduce operational and production expenses.
• SAP Software: Utilizing SAP software for production planning and inventory management
• Resource Allocation: Adapting resource allocation based on production schedules and shifts.
• Product Quality: Ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Employee Engagement: Enhancing employee engagement and facilitating the development of a high-performing team.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Academic Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. Chemical

Job Experience: Minimum 15-20 years in Chemical/Pharma Company

Technical Qualifications: SAP – MM module, MS Office etc.

Other Skills:

• Factory Operations Knowledge: Strong knowledge of factory operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Kaizen Initiatives: Proven track record of implementing Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manufacturing Sector Expertise: Proven experience as a Production Manager in the manufacturing sector, in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and production processes,
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Team Building and Decision Making: Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills,
• Accountability and Leadership: Able to create accountability and lead by example & to handle high pressure and critical decision-making scenarios efficiently.
• Teamwork and Problem Solving: Strong team player with a proactive attitude and a focus on solutions.
• Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified in Production and Operations Management (CPOM) are highly regarded.
• Manufacturing Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of Manufacturing Software, Statistical Method and Data Analysis and Quality Assurance Protocols.
