Procurement Professional

The primary responsibility of the Procurement Manager is to develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy that aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and timely delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors based on technical, commercial, and service capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide market insights, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Design and implement process improvements to optimize procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor vendor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management in FMCG, cosmetics, nutrition, personal care, or consumer goods industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver value-added results.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain operations, and vendor compliance.
  • Exposure to certifications/regulatory requirements (FSSAI, GMP, ISO, FDA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
