Job Title: Cloud Data Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

  • Design and develop highly reliable and secure data solutions on GCP using Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Apache Airflow.
  • Develop robust ETL/ELT processes using Python and integrate with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize BigQuery performance through efficient schema design, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
  • Manage and maintain data lake and data warehouse environments ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Automate and monitor data pipelines to ensure consistent and reliable data delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and cloud usage.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and Python, and is adept at managing complex data workflows and transformations at scale.

Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering data solutions in a cloud environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:Data Engineering Expertise:
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and architectures on GCP.
  • Develop robust ETL/ELT processes using Python and integrate with data orchestration tools.
  • Optimize BigQuery performance through efficient schema design, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and Development:
  • Lead by example and mentor junior engineers to promote best practices in data engineering and cloud usage.
