Job Overview:

The Product Manager II role at TD SYNNEX is a critical position that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups, while creating the highest return for both TD SYNNEX and the vendor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans for the vendor product group and associated services.
  • Design and execute sales enablement programs for TD SYNNEX and partners.
  • Ensure that the technical sales support teams are adequately trained to support the relevant product groups.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs to support product group objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and business partners to create joint initiatives.
  • Lead the planning process, including inventory turns, inventory fulfillment, and inventory obsolescence minimization.
  • Implement business plans that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets and generate planned profit outcomes.
  • Drive revenue plans by brand and by market segment.
  • Coordinate functions within TD SYNNEX to deliver agreed product plan outcomes.
  • Maintain executive business relations with vendor partners, ensuring proactive engagement and continuous monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain operational-level vendor relationships.
  • Monitor sales processes, proposals, pipeline management, and partner engagement to recommend remedial actions.
  • Ensure high levels of vendor and partner satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for team members.
  • Accurately maintain a product group pipeline.
  • Measure and maintain critical product group performance data to ensure TD SYNNEX meets vendor commitments and leverages commercial opportunities.
  • Provide business forecasting and planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Offer various reports for commercial decision-making.
  • Advocate and lead for the relevant product groups within TD SYNNEX and the vendor community.
  • Provide direction, development, and support to ensure the sales team performs optimally for the relevant product group.
  • Address unsatisfactory performance and behavior within the team.
  • Exemplify leadership behaviors to the wider organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IT distribution.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Appropriate vendor product sales certifications.
  • Strong leadership attributes.
  • Self-starter.
  • Results-focused.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Capacity to lead vertical teams.
  • Influence business outcomes without direct control.
