Job Title

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the operation and performance of our Security Operations Center. This senior leadership role requires hands-on experience in threat detection, incident management, and team leadership with 8-15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.

You will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of analysts while maintaining high service standards, meeting SLAs, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and mentoring cybersecurity teams, as well as strong communication skills to interact with clients and deliver high-level reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), overseeing the efforts of L1, L2, and L3 analysts to ensure effective incident detection, investigation, and response.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of SOC processes, focusing on enhancing threat detection, incident response times, and automation capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client security incidents, providing guidance and managing reporting, incident resolution, and improvement strategies.
  • Monitor and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met consistently, delivering exceptional, timely security services to clients.
  • Prepare and present regular client reports on incident analysis, threat trends, and operational performance.
  • Develop and execute response plans to mitigate threats and limit impact on clients during incident response activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the SOC.
  • Collaborate with other cybersecurity teams and leadership to align security operations with broader business goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 8-15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a Security Operations Center or similar security function.
  • In-depth understanding of SOC operations, threat intelligence, incident management, SIEM tools, and security frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to threat detection and incident response.
