Game Artist

We are seeking a talented Game Artist to join our team. As a Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating polished in-game art assets, designing UI asset packs for mobile/web apps, maintaining style guides and visual consistency across screens and states, leveraging AI to speed creative workflows, collaborating with designers/PMs/engineers and shipping on clear timelines.

Minimum 4 hours/day (part-time or full-time); immediate joiners preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create high-quality in-game art assets, including characters, props, environments, VFX, and icons.
  • Design visually appealing UI asset packs for mobile/web apps, including components, states, and layouts.
  • Maintain a consistent visual style throughout the project by adhering to established guidelines and best practices.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence to streamline creative workflows, increase productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Requirements:
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D game art and UI work is essential.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and/or Procreate is required.
  • Familiarity with visual hierarchy, readability, and accessibility principles is necessary.
  • Clean export and handoff processes, including naming, slicing, densities, and asset optimization, are crucial.
