The role of Head of Finance is a critical one, requiring an individual who can oversee the entire financial function of an organization. This includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
About Our Client:Our client is an Indian fashion brand specializing in ethnic and Indo-Western apparel for women. The brand primarily operates through online channels and offers a diverse portfolio of contemporary and traditional styles.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements according to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems for handling financial data and processes.
- Assist management with important financial decisions and budgeting.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team.
- Mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in manufacturing, service or retail industry.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
