Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the animation team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global markets to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
  • Develop and implement design guidelines, standards, and processes to maintain consistency across all visual materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new design techniques, and tools to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of the animation team.
  • Review and approve final designs, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the global team and serve as a bridge between designers and developers.
  • Track the game progression and maintain a record of all team members' role plays.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a 2D/3D artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating high-quality 3D assets and environments.
  • Experience in modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation with Blender/Maya or 3ds max is a must.
  • Experience with rendering and compositing in Adobe Suite, with a strong understanding of the production pipeline.
  • Strong creative vision, with attention to business objectives.
  • Strong artistic and creative abilities, with an eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
  • Independent self-improvement and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in the industry.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers to improve their skills and performance.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, and their visual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred MFA degree or Master's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proven production experience of 12+ years in graphic design roles, preferably in a managerial or leadership position.
  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, demonstrating technical skills and creativity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to overcome design challenges.
  • Experience with project management tools and software is a plus.
