Director of Placement Operations

The incumbent will oversee and manage multiple departments in various locations.
A target-driven individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills is required to prepare students for placements and ensure their placement in programs.
- Prepare students for placements and ensure placements of students in programs.
- Lead all engagement activities from the pre-placement stage, through the placement procedure, and the placement stage by monitoring, controlling and reporting progress.
Progress will be monitored and reported throughout the placement stage.
Key Responsibilities:- Placement Support:
- A strong industry connection with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants.
- Well-connected with industry associations, forums, and industry captains.
- Knowledgeable about online communities and social media platforms.
- Versatile in networking through job portals and technology platforms.
- Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends.
- To connect with other resources and institutions (government-affiliated bodies).
- Helping Placement & Departments to identify internship opportunities for students when required.
- Handling complete placement data management and maintaining internship and placement data.
- Preparing detailed reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
- Ability to manage flexible & extended time requirements as and when needed.
- Identify and organize interaction programs on career opportunities in the university and external agencies.
- Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting and scheduling interviews.
- Monitoring individual candidates' progress.
- Providing counseling on procedures to the applicants.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information in electronic and digital format.
- Training Support:
- Organizing Skill Lab Orientation programs.
- Taking full responsibility for enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
- Conducting various training programs at different academic institutions.
- Working closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise and update curriculums.
- Proactively strengthening knowledge and providing feedback on methodologies in the training process.
- Overseeing and managing the Digitally Enabled Platform for which training shall be provided.
- Essential: A Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the placement process, such as ATS and other HR software.
- A minimum of 15 years or more of relevant experience in Corporate Placements in NCR Region.
