Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge edge AI/ML solutions for space-based applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies, including Linux, embedded systems, and containerized software delivery. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software solutions for AI/ML workloads on NVIDIA, Xilinx, and Microchip platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of engineers, scientists, and product leaders to develop breakthrough technology and solve complex challenges in earth observation, space situational awareness, and autonomous satellite operations.

  • Design and implement embedded software solutions for AI/ML workloads on various platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy edge AI/ML solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Linux-based environments, including kernel modules, system tuning, cross-compilation, and deployment scripts.
  • Integrate ML models into embedded systems and collaborate with data science teams to enable deployment on resource-constrained hardware.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science, as well as hands-on experience in embedded software development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux (system internals, drivers, kernel tuning).
  • Proven experience with Docker and containerized workflows.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT, and Xilinx Vitis AI / OpenCL.

Complementary Skills:

  • Networking & Protocols: Knowledge of embedded networking (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, gRPC), especially for low-bandwidth or intermittent links.
  • Security & Encryption: Familiarity with secure boot, encryption standards, and container security.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Experience with ARM/x86 toolchains, cross-compilation, and Yocto/OpenEmbedded.
