We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Fund Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of fund financial reports, including trial balances, financial statements, and investor capital statements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and experience working with private investment funds or asset management companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and assist in preparation of fund financial reports, including trial balances, financial statements, and investor capital statements.
  • Assist in managing fund operations, including compliance, controls, and treasury management.
  • Actively participate in the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, including coordination with auditors, fund administrators, and operating platforms.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to fund administration team members.
Requirements:
  • Chartered accountant with 5-7 years of experience working in a corporate accounting or audit firm, preferably in private investment funds or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience working with financial reporting software.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Salary Range:

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location:

New York City or Chicago.
