As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of human-machine interaction by leading the design and development of advanced infrastructure and tooling for customising multilingual speech models, AOAI systems, and multimodal generative AI.


The technologies you will work on power real-time transcription, intelligent voice agents, and multilingual dubbing across Microsoft products and enterprise solutions. Your focus will be on India and emerging markets, where you will drive innovation in engineering efficiency, scalable data processing, and AOAI customisation while mentoring engineers and influencing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced infrastructure and tooling for customising multilingual speech models, AOAI systems, and multimodal generative AI.

  • Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional teams to shape the future of human-machine interaction.
  • Collaborate with the Azure Speech team to develop next-generation AI-driven speech solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in AI and machine learning.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for innovation and driving technical excellence.
