Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. This entails examining trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement on a monthly basis.

To achieve this, you will prepare detailed reports that highlight key findings and support strategic decision-making. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying areas for enhancement and developing recommendations for the management team.

Maintaining and updating pricing libraries is another vital aspect of this position. You must ensure that these libraries are accurate and up-to-date to enable competitive pricing strategies. Your understanding of market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures will be essential in optimizing pricing models.

Conducting profitability analysis for new clients is a critical component of this role. You will need to evaluate potential financial outcomes, taking into account factors such as cost structures, revenue projections, and profit margins. This information will help inform business development decisions.

Preparing ad-hoc reconciliation reports is another important responsibility. These reports must ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Your attention to detail will be vital in reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.

In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly subsidiary reports. These reports must adhere to both internal and external reporting requirements. Your ability to consolidate financial data from various subsidiaries and present it in a clear manner will be invaluable.

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial data analysis is required. You must possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to break down complex financial data and prepare insightful reports.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data visualization tools is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and PowerPoint, is also necessary.

Attention to Detail: Your exceptional eye for detail will be crucial in proofreading and enhancing written content, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all financial reports and documents.

Communication: Effective communication skills are vital for this role. You must be able to present complex information clearly to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. The ability to convey financial insights in an understandable manner is essential.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively. Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively within a team environment are essential qualities for success.

Analytical Problem Solver: High-level analytical skills, combined with an excellent understanding of financial data analysis, are required to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Sound recommendations to support strategic decision-making are expected.
