Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Role: A highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer responsible for leading the way in securing our organization's technology and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our company's technology and information systems.
  • Design, build, implement and support enterprise-class security systems that meet our business needs.
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats to our organization.
  • Plan, research and design robust security architectures for any IT project, ensuring our assets are secure and protected.
  • Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements, providing a safe and secure environment for our users.
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements to improve our security posture.
  • Set up and support code security and infrastructure security activities of DevSecOps Pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration between teams.
  • Must have experience in cloud concepts and perform assessment and implementation of new technologies within the cloud, driving innovation and growth in our organization.
  • Use current programming language and technologies to write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications, ensuring high quality and reliability.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to development and security teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Define, implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis, minimizing downtime and impact on our business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills in security engineering, including experience with cloud security and infrastructure security.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ and others.
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipeline and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong time management skills.
