Fusion SCM Senior Functional Consultant Job Description

The role of a Fusion SCM Sr Functional Consultant involves working on both offshore and onshore client engagements. This includes the implementation of Oracle SCM Cloud modules, such as Fusion Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Planning, PDH, Manufacturing, Costing & other SCM Cloud Modules.

An experienced consulting professional with an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family is required. The consultant will operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement, performing varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.

The consultant will apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. They will demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements, potentially acting as the team lead on projects. Effective consultation with management of customer organizations is also necessary, along with participation in business development activities. Detailed solutions for moderately complex projects will be developed and configured by the consultant.

For this position, we require an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus, ability to communicate effectively, build rapport with team members and clients, and travel as needed. A minimum of 4 to 7 years' experience with at least 2+ years Consulting/Solutioning/Implementation experience in Oracle ERP application is essential. Expertise in at least 2 Fusion SCM modules, such as Supply/Demand/Sales & Operations Planning, Fusion Product Data Hub, Fusion Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance & other SCM Cloud Modules, is required. Additionally, minimum 2 End-to-End Implementation experience in Oracle ERP and excellent Communication & Client Handling skills are necessary. Being a graduate and having domain/industry experience as an added advantage completes the requirements.
