Job Description

The role of Senior Linux Administrator is a critical position within our organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Linux administration, including LVM concepts, multipath configurations, and performance optimization.

  • Create, extend, and troubleshoot file systems using LVM.
  • Configure and validate multipath settings, add LUNs, and enable multipathing.
  • Evaluate and correct operating system vulnerabilities through patching.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and OS-level issues.
  • Manage log rotation, file system usage, and permissions/ownership changes.
  • Implement OS-level changes as per application and DB team requirements.
  • Adhere to SLA guidelines while handling BAU tasks.
  • Perform service management tasks, such as NTP, SSH, and AUTOFS configuration.
  • Resolve server access and bootable issues, including Grub fixing.
  • Troubleshoot OS-level issues to bring up servers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
