Job Title: Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced in-house legal advisor to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal and compliance solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor risk and compliance issues, and implement risk mitigation/remediation solutions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in reviewing/drafting policies, guidelines, and SOPs on regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on compliance with data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention management.
  • Support cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on disclosure requirements to regulators and interacting with external vendors.
  • Advise on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, including review of policy/guidance documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law along with relevant experience as an in-house counsel preferably in multinational companies.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have 8-14 years' work experience overall and a strong background in corporate law and compliance.
