Job Details

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a role that involves managing end-to-end billing processes.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating orders, preparing billing data, reconciling with system data and resolving identified errors as approved.

A key aspect of this role is working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing Validation: Validate orders entered with contract and research billing errors or missing sales orders.
  • Billing Data Preparation: Prepare billing data and reconcile with system data to find and report errors.
  • Error Resolution: Resolve identified errors as approved and send invoices for billing.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate internally within finance department or with sales for billing corrections as needed.
  • Invoicing: Validate invoices in AX vs Purchase order/Sales order.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Identify anomalies, gaps in the process and explore potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Act as Subject Matter Expert/Mentor/Buddy and provide guidance to team members on Billing and invoicing including running training programs for new hires.
  • Audit and Compliance: Audit samples of invoices created and posted in the system by Accountants.
  • SOP Documentation: Keep the SOP documentation updated as per the identified changes in the process and submit for regular review and approval.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant prior work experience.
  • Technical Skills: ERP experience of Microsoft AX, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP. Subscription billing experience would be an added advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Proficiency in using MS office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to learn fast, absorb knowledge and apply newly learned information.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and find solutions to issues.
