Lead Attorney

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction and Briefing:
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and gather detailed briefs for drafting contracts and agreements.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on legal provisions, risks, and best practices for contracts.
• Drafting Supervision:
  • Direct and guide junior associates in drafting various types of contracts and agreements based on client briefs.
  • Provide clear instructions and frameworks to ensure the accuracy and relevance of drafts.
• Quality Control:
  • Review and QC contracts drafted by junior associates for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Training and Development:
  • Train junior associates on effective drafting techniques, legal language, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular workshops or mentoring sessions to improve the team's drafting skills and efficiency.
• Process Optimization:
  • Develop and refine internal workflows for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts to improve turnaround time.
  • Ensure adherence to the organization's standards and guidelines for contract drafting.
• Legal Research:
  • Conduct research on legal updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide added value to clients.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with the legal team and management to streamline processes and resolve complex client requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on client projects and team performance to the reporting manager.
