Job Title: Chief Diplomat

This is a senior leadership position that plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's international engagement portfolio. The Chief Diplomat will be responsible for positioning the organisation as the premier representative of Indian industry in the international arena.

Requirements:

Education & Experience: Master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, business administration, or related field. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure preferred. A total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.

Technical Skills: Expertise in international trade, investment, and diplomacy. Strong policy and advocacy background. Broad knowledge of global economic issues.

Generic / Managerial Skills: Visionary leadership with deep knowledge of international trade and diplomacy. Strong diplomatic, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Wide international network across governments, industry associations, and multilateral institutions. Excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills. High credibility, gravitas, and ability to influence global economic policy.
