Job Overview

Civil Design Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of solar projects. They prepare and modify designs on-site, bridging the gap between the Head Office Design Team and Site Execution Team.

  • Review and interpret HO-issued drawings and designs for implementation at site.
  • Prepare or modify civil designs/drawings at site when required (e.g., minor layout adjustments, drainage solutions, foundation modifications, road alignments).
  • Perform structural calculations and basic engineering design for site-specific changes.
  • Develop detailed civil/structural drawings using AutoCAD or other software.
  • Verify ground conditions through site surveys and soil/level checks before finalizing designs.
  • Ensure execution of foundations, trenches, drainage, boundary walls, and roads as per design.
  • Issue design change notes/marked-up drawings and coordinate approval with HO.
  • Prepare and update as-built drawings for all civil works executed at site.
  • Support quality team by validating reinforcement, concrete mix, and other design parameters.
  • Coordinate with electrical/mechanical teams to resolve interdisciplinary design issues.
  • Manage ground levels for difficult civil works at site.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Civil Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
