Civil Engineer Role Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that work is executed according to drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Resource Management: Monitor and manage resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.
  • Project Milestones: Ensure timely completion of project milestones as per schedule.
  • Site Records: Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.
  • Documentation Support: Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and management.

You Will Need:

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards.
  • Drawing Proficiency: Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (preferred).
  • Leadership Skills: Good leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Geographic Flexibility: Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting.
  • AutoCAD Experience: Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Skill Set: Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills.
