As a Production and Raw Material Planning Specialist at Huntsman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of production plans, minimizing last-minute changes, and achieving accurate production planning to manage inventory effectively. Your responsibilities will include preparing and distributing weekly production plans, creating production orders in SAP, collaborating with logistics, production, quality control, and export-import teams, monitoring vital parameters daily, coordinating with the production team to address any discrepancies, and developing a six-month rolling capacity load plan for blenders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute weekly production plans to the plant team
- Create production orders in SAP
- Drive and execute a smooth production plan, minimizing last-minute changes
- Collaborate with logistics, production, quality control, and export-import teams to ensure seamless execution of the production plan
- Monitor vital parameters daily by comparing the plan versus actual performance
- Coordinate with the production team to address any discrepancies and prepare regular reports
- Develop a six-month rolling capacity load plan for blenders, identifying and highlighting any constraints
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable with using demand planning software, Excel, and other relevant tools, and have a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Desirable Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a reputed company
- SAP ERP experience in MRP planning/SAP PP Module
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in English – Written and Verbal both
- Command over MS office packages – Advance Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
