Job Role: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Financial Analyst in our financial controls area. This position will involve working on corporate accounting, including consolidation based on IFRS and statutory reporting.

This is a critical position that requires strong analytical and technical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project initiatives across support areas, managing activity dashboards, monitoring transactions, and coordinating with different teams to collate information on a timely basis.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project initiatives across support areas, including corporate accounting, consolidation, and statutory reporting.
  • Manage activity dashboards, ensuring the allocation of tasks among team members.
  • Monitor transactions interfaced between ERPs (monthly closes) and fix/flag issues accordingly.
  • Coordinating with different teams to collate information on a timely basis and communicate with client teams on task status.
  • Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by the team, ensuring they meet best quality standards.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc analysis/reports based on client/team requests.
  • Improve current reports and proactively work with teams/counterparts to add value on a consistent basis.
  • Requirements:
  • Around three to five years of post-qualification experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Powerpoint, with VBA programming knowledge an added advantage.
  • Experience with business software applications such as SAP, Business Dynamics, or others.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
