We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at PeopleTree Knowledge Services Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and leadership, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance scalable applications using Python and its ecosystem.

The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for leading a team of Python developers, providing guidance and mentorship, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable efficient solutions. The candidate should have a strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, as well as experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in Python development, with 2 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in Python libraries and frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn, and PyTorch is required. Experience with REST API development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Python developers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance scalable applications using Python and its ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable efficient solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in mentoring junior developers.
  • Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other software-related issues.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Python development, with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Python libraries and frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn, and PyTorch.
  • Experience with REST API development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
