About this Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to drive product development and ensure smooth execution from concept to launch.

This role involves building and maintaining core backend systems for user authentication, payments, and subscriptions using PHP and Laravel. The ideal candidate will design and manage APIs to power frontend, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Develop and maintain scalable backend systems that meet business requirements.
  • Code Quality & Optimization: Write efficient and maintainable code to support a reliable SaaS product. Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and handle scale.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver customer-focused solutions. Contribute to discussions around product features and technical approaches.
  • System Maintenance & Innovation: Continuously monitor and maintain secure and stable backend systems. Identify opportunities to enhance system capabilities or improve processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-2 years of backend development experience, preferably in a SaaS startup or small team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP and Laravel for backend development. Strong knowledge of MySQL for managing complex databases. Experience with building and managing APIs for scalable applications.
