Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing filters and parts as needed.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Communicate daily activities and issues to the next shift using approved communication methods to ensure seamless handovers and continuity.
  • Acquire knowledge and skills in areas such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related fields to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in general maintenance, painting, surface preparation, and hotel engineering/maintenance is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for travel between locations.
