Role Title: Netsuite Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Netsuite quality assurance professional to fill a key position in our organization.

Job Description:

As a critical member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our Netsuite implementations.

  • Analyze business and functional requirements related to NetSuite and eCommerce processes to ensure seamless integration.
  • Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases, scripts, and test plans to validate Netsuite functionality.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of Netsuite SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) and other eCommerce integrations to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.
  • Automate regression tests for key eCommerce workflows such as order-to-cash, inventory sync, tax/shipping calculations, and product updates to minimize errors.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar to streamline testing processes.
  • Validate API integrations (REST/SOAP), 3rd-party connectors (e.g., Celigo), and backend jobs to ensure smooth data exchange.
  • Log and track issues in defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct regression, functional, smoke, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and address potential problems.
  • Support test automation in CI/CD pipelines and provide guidance on automation best practices to improve overall quality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and QA retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Document and communicate testing results and QA metrics to stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles, with a mix of manual and automation testing.
  • Experience working with NetSuite (SuiteCommerce or SCA) and understanding of core ERP/eCommerce flows.
  • Netsuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to NetSuite scripting, workflows, and integrations with platforms like Shopify or Magento.
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
  • Knowledge of load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
