Our commitment to data governance, ownership, and confidentiality ensures our customers can innovate with confidence on top of the globally trusted Ubuntu platform.This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region, allowing you to collaborate with a globally distributed team while working on exciting projects. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
  • Architecting scalable service APIs using Python and Golang
  • Developing data governance, management, and auditing systems within our telemetry platform
  • Collaborating with our infrastructure team to develop both cloud-based SaaS offerings and containerised on-prem solutions
  • Designing and implementing new features and enhancements from specification to production and ongoing operations at scale
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technology foundation, with a preference for backend code and infrastructure. A good understanding of cybersecurity and the challenges of the IoT environment when it comes to connectivity and data streaming is also essential.You should have proficiency in designing and implementing back-end web services, messaging/data pipelines, and REST APIs using Python and/or Golang. Familiarity with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform is also required.A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field is necessary. Additionally, you should be willing to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
