Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead Job Description

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering three key services: Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Assessment, and Sandboxing.

  • Cyber Threat Intelligence:
    • Collect, analyze, and exploit customized outputs from intelligence partners and open-source information to anticipate emerging cyber threats and gain knowledge on threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
    • Perform cyber threat hunting on Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) through security tools to detect prior compromise.
  • Vulnerability Assessment:
    • Communicate on vulnerabilities related to software used by the organization.
    • Regularly update software inventory in scope of Vulnerability Assessment Service.
  • Sandboxing:
    • Analyze on request the maliciousness of packages and files in the sandbox and formalize synthesis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any relevant certifications, with experience in investigating and reporting on cyber-attacks. Strong technical skills with an interest in open source intelligence investigations and malware analysis are required. In-depth knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, web proxies, SIEM, and firewalls is also essential.

The role requires a team-oriented individual who can work within a collaborative environment and with other service lines. A good sense of priorities and initiative is necessary, along with being rigorous and autonomous. Excellent writing skills in English and the ability to communicate complex technical challenges in a business language to a range of stakeholders are also essential.

  1. Deliver high-quality Cyber Threat Intelligence services.
  2. Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments.
  3. Develop effective sandboxes for malicious package analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant certifications.
  • Experience in investigating and reporting on cyber-attacks.
  • Strong technical skills and interest in open source intelligence investigations and malware analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of security tools.
