Healthcare Engineering Manager

We seek a skilled Engineering Manager who combines technical expertise with exceptional people management skills to lead our healthcare claims processing engineering teams.

  • Design and architect scalable systems handling millions of transactions per day
  • Lead system design reviews and make strategic decisions for complex workflows
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security standards meet regulatory compliance requirements
  • Develop and drive technical strategies for claims adjudication, provider networks, and member management systems

This role requires deep knowledge of distributed systems and the ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams.

You will collaborate closely with architects on system integration patterns and data flow optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in engineering management
  • Strong system design experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and modern engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with healthcare standards and regulated industries
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims workflows and adjudication processes

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
