Embedded Linux Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Developer to work on the development, porting and optimization of Linux for various hardware platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in embedded systems, kernel programming, device driver development and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Linux Board Support Packages (BSPs) for different hardware platforms.
  • Port Linux to new hardware platforms, including bootloaders, kernel, and device tree.
  • Design and implement device drivers for peripherals like I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, etc.
  • Integrate and optimize Linux kernel, root file system, and toolchains for target boards.
  • Debug and resolve issues at the kernel, driver, and hardware-software integration levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, including CPU architectures, memory management, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Experience with Linux kernel development, including kernel configuration, debugging, and testing.
  • Skills in device driver development, including driver architecture, interrupt handling, and DMA operations.
  • Familiarity with build systems like Yocto/Buildroot, and their role in generating and customizing embedded Linux distributions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues.
