Adhere to international benchmarked curriculum standards, making relevant connections between the learning area and current global scenarios.

• Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy in developing effective lesson plans.
• Identify clear teaching objectives and specify how they will be transacted in class.

Design coherent instructions to engage students in independent thinking.

• Utilize a wide variety of teaching techniques and tools to address different learners.
• Create and distribute educational supports, including reading material, activities, sharing lessons in a comprehensive manner, using visual/audio accompaniments to facilitate interactive learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in providing students with academic, non-academic, and social support as needed.
• Conduct remedial sessions for students as required.

Transact student assessments as designed and approved by the curriculum team.

• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and behavior of students, issuing grades, progress reports, and report cards.
• Assign work, correct, and mark work carried out by students.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Create a classroom culture that is welcoming, positive, and inclusive.

• Integrate Ekya Nava's theme into all aspects of teaching and learning through cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary systems.

• Communicate, cooperate, and consult with colleagues and parents/guardians in the best interest of students.
• Enhance and contribute to extra-curricular opportunities by organizing assemblies, trips, events, competitions, club events at school.
• Plan, execute, and chaperone educational in-class and outdoor activities, ensuring student safety.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience in teaching IGCSE or other international curricula can be highly beneficial.
• A good understanding of the IGCSE framework, assessment methods, and syllabi is essential.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse students and staff towards achieving shared goals.
• A commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
• The ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
