Azure Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our growing team for an exciting Greenfield S/4HANA Implementation project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data management systems using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).


Key Skills:
  • Data Pipeline Development: Create ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
  • Data Storage & Warehousing: Work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and ADLS for large-scale data management.
  • Data Modeling: Create optimized data models (star, snowflake, data vault) to support reporting and analytics.
  • Programming & Automation: Use SQL, Python, and PySpark (in Azure Databricks) for data transformations and automation.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ADF pipelines, Synapse queries, and Databricks jobs for cost, performance, and reliability.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Implement validation, lineage, and governance using Microsoft Purview.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business teams, analysts, and data scientists to deliver reliable, scalable Azure data solutions.
  • DevOps & Documentation: Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD of data pipelines; maintain clear documentation and follow versioning/deployment best practices.
