The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including data architecture, ETL, cloud platforms, and big data technologies, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research, proof of concept, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of data solutions">
  • Design and implement modular, flexible, secure, and reliable data systems that scale with business needs">
  • Integrate pipeline observability to detect and resolve issues proactively">
  • Develop tools and processes to debug, optimize, and maintain production systems">
  • Identify and address legacy inefficiencies to improve performance and maintainability">
  • Maintain clear documentation of data models, transformations, and pipelines to ensure security and governance compliance">
  • Leverage advanced skills in AWS and EKS to build, deploy, and scale cloud-native data platforms">
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency and innovation">

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering and management">
  • Strong technical skills in data architecture, ETL, cloud platforms, and big data technologies">
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills">
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, SQL, and Scala">
  • Deep understanding of databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and relational databases">
  • Expertise in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP">
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Snowflake">
  • Familiarity with CI/CD & Automation and DevOps practices">
