The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in Spark, Py-Spark, and Teradata. You will be expected to work closely with business and technical leadership to understand requirements and design effective data solutions. Your expertise in writing performant queries using Teradata SQL, Hive SQL, and Spark SQL will be critical in delivering high-quality results.
In addition to your technical skills, you will be required to participate in sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, demos, and retrospectives. Your ability to exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives will be essential in driving success in this role.
We are looking for someone with a strong development experience in Databricks as Data Lake implementations, Agile methodology, and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory. Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, ECS, Glue, IAM, and Cloud Watch is also highly desirable.
