Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished QA Team Lead to spearhead our Quality Assurance team and elevate product quality. This pivotal role combines leadership and hands-on testing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will establish robust QA processes from scratch, guide the QA team, and ensure seamless product releases. Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly in the hospitality industry, is highly beneficial.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and implement best QA practices for our hospitality SaaS products.
  2. Set up manual and automation testing systems from the ground up.
  3. Manage the full QA process, including understanding requirements, testing, and final sign-off before release.
  4. Lead and support QA team members in their day-to-day work.
  5. Organize training to enhance team skills.
  6. Assign tasks effectively across different projects.
  7. Plan, write, and manage all testing stages, including regression, smoke, and sanity tests.
  8. Verify fixes and issues after updates go live.
  9. Utilize project management tools like ClickUp or JIRA to manage test cases, bugs, and team tasks.
  10. Define rules for bug severity and manage the bug tracking process.
  11. Automate repetitive tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright if possible.
  12. Closely collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Support teams.
  13. Track QA performance and share regular updates and reports with leadership.


Requirements

  • 8-10 years of overall QA experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • 3-5 years in a QA lead or manager role.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing, UI/UX testing, and API testing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Experience using project management tools like ClickUp or JIRA.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS products and manual testing.
  • Some experience with test automation tools.
