Job Description

We are seeking a senior software engineer to join our cloud and on-prem services team.

This role involves building, maintaining and scaling complex distributed systems that provide customers with real-time insights into their network.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable architectures, ensuring high availability and performance under load.
  • The individual should be proficient in languages such as Python, Go, C/C++ and have a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and operating systems fundamentals.
  • A proven track record of working with CI/CD environments, automation frameworks and monitoring tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) is also desirable.

In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Your expertise will contribute to the design and implementation of robust, secure and efficient systems that deliver business value.

The successful candidate will be an active participant in technical discussions, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, distributed systems for cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of ownership and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience building services/products.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Go, C/C++.
  • Extensive knowledge of data structures, algorithms and operating systems fundamentals.
  • Proven track record of working with CI/CD environments and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
