Job Title: Mechanical Operations Engineer

  • Responsible for the day-to-day inspection and maintenance of Cement Plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform routine maintenance on Pyro section, working in a shift operation environment in Mechanical Pre.

  • Ensure safe working practices by adhering to all relevant UTCL safety standards.

  • Comply with SBO, WTI, CAPA schedules and Near Miss recommendations to minimize downtime.

  • Conduct regular R1/R2 and S1/S2 checks as per schedule, maintaining accurate daily checklists.

  • Record and plan rectification of any abnormalities encountered during routine inspections.

  • Investigate breakdowns through WHY analysis, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

  • Adhere to systems requirements, implementing WCM and ISO standards at site level.

  • Identify and execute improvement jobs to enhance overall plant efficiency.

  • Manage spares and maintenance planning for routine, short-term, and shutdown activities.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment.

  • Inspect and troubleshoot issues with mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth.
